FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Location: Endecot,
Employment Type: Contract
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Endecot. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift, loading and offloading goods, moving stock and ensuring that warehouse operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move and stack materials and stock.
* Receive and dispatch goods accurately.
* Assist with loading and offloading trucks and containers.
* Move stock to designated storage areas.
* Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
* Conduct daily pre-use inspections of the forklift and report any faults or defects.
* Maintain accurate stock movement records where required.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
* Maintain good housekeeping within the warehouse and work area.
* Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
Minimum Requirements
* Grade 10/12 or equivalent.
* Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certificate.
* Minimum 2–3 years' forklift operating experience.
* Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience will be advantageous.
* Experience loading and offloading trucks and containers.
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable, punctual and physically fit.
* Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
