Key Responsibilities
* Managing temporary, contract and permanent recruitment assignments
* Drafting and posting job advertisements across various recruitment platforms
* Searching and sourcing suitable candidates for current vacancies
* Screening CVs against job specifications and client requirements
* Conducting candidate interviews and assessing suitability
* Typing, updating and formatting candidate CVs
* Conducting reference checks and arranging the required background checks
* Shortlisting and preparing suitable candidates for submission to clients
* Coordinating and scheduling client interviews
* Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process and keeping them updated
* Building and maintaining a strong database of suitable candidates
* Continuously building a pool of vetted temporary and contract employees
* Managing quick-turnaround temporary staffing requirements
* Preparing offers of employment and employment contracts
* Assisting with onboarding temporary and contract employees
* Following up on timesheets and ensuring they are submitted timeously for payroll
* Liaising with the payroll/wages team regarding temporary and contract employees
* Assisting with payroll-related queries, leave, hours worked and other employee administration where required
* Keeping candidate and employee information accurate and up to date on the recruitment systems
* Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding vacancies, candidates and employees on assignment
* Providing ongoing support to temporary and contract employees while they are on assignment
We are looking for someone who:
* Is confident speaking to candidates and clients, both telephonically and face-to-face
* Has strong communication and people skills
* Is organised and able to manage several things at once
* Has excellent attention to detail
* Can work under pressure and deal with changing priorities
* Takes ownership of their work and follows things through
* Takes initiative and doesn't need to be constantly managed
* Is computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
* Enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in recruitment
* Is comfortable with the administrative side of managing temporary and contract employees
* Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
* Is reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
Previous experience in recruitment, HR, customer service or administration would be advantageous.
This role offers exposure to temporary, contract and permanent recruitment, including ongoing support of employees on assignment. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career in recruitment, take ownership and grow within the industry.
