Clearing Controller

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring smooth customs clearance processes and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate and manage the clearing process for imports and exports * Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs documentation * Liaise with customs officials, shipping lines, and transport providers * Stay up to date with relevant customs regulations and industry developments * Monitor and report on clearing delays and proactively resolve issues Requirements: * 3–5 years of experience in clearing and forwarding * Diploma/degree in Logistics or Supply Chain * Clearing and Forwarding knowledge * Sea freight experience * Strong understanding of SARS EDI system and customs procedures * Excellent organizational and communication skills Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
