Job description

Duties: Processing of wine costing and wine manufacturing. Wine sales and costing analysis. Administration of SAWIS and submission of monthly return. Administration of excise and submission of monthly return. Capturing of cash book, petty cash and daily cash-up reconciliation. General ledger including journal entries. Debtors (Local and Foreign) administration including issuing of invoices, and collections. Creditors (Local and Foreign) administration including capturing of invoices, reconciliations and loading of payments. International payments and calculating foreign exchange differences and re-valuations. Stock administration including invoice capturing and monthly stock take. Fixed Asset Register maintenance. Insurance policy maintenance and handling of claims. Assistance with Annual Audit. Requirements: B.Com Accounting or similar qualification. Completed SAIPA articles will be advantageous. Preferably more than 3 years’ experience in the wine industry. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Experience working with Sage Evolution 200 or a similar accounting package. Fluent in English and Afrikaans Previous exposure to Easipos (Point of Sale) will be advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
