Job description
Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily bookkeeping functions up to Trial Balance.
* Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier accounts.
* Prepare supplier payments and ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
* Capture purchase orders and supplier transactions.
* Process inventory-related transactions and maintain accurate stock records.
* Reconcile stock movements and investigate stock variances.
* Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
* Capture journals and maintain accurate financial records.
* Assist with month-end financial processes.
* Maintain accurate filing and financial documentation.
* Provide general finance and administrative support to the finance department.
Minimum Requirements
* Grade 12 (Matric).
* Bookkeeping, Accounting or Finance qualification will be advantageous.
* 3–5 years' experience in a Junior Bookkeeping role.
* Previous experience within the automotive parts industry is essential.
* Experience working with parts inventory and stock control.
* Experience processing supplier purchases, supplier reconciliations and supplier payments.
* Sound understanding of bookkeeping principles and reconciliations.
* Computer literate with good Microsoft Excel skills.
* Experience working on an accounting or ERP system.
* Strong numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail.

Essential Requirement
