About the Role
We are seeking an Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements, maintain audit quality, manage client relationships, and develop our audit teams.
Salary: Market-related
Minimum Requirements
* Completed SAICA articles
* At least two years’ direct supervisory or management experience
* CA(SA) qualification or equivalent preferred, but not required
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISA, the Companies Act and tax regulations
* Practical external audit experience
* Advanced MS Excel and Word proficiency
* Inflo and DraftWorx experience advantageous
* Ability to travel nationally and work overtime when required
Key Responsibilities
* Lead multiple audit engagements, including planning, resource allocation and delivery.
* Oversee audit quality and the preparation and review of financial statements.
* Resolve operational issues and act as a key client contact.
* Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
* Mentor and develop audit teams.
* Oversee portfolio profitability, working capital and billing.
* Manage staff allocation and compliance with internal processes.
