Job description
Minimum Requirements
* BCom Honours in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
* CA(SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification preferred
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
* Strong experience in stock management, costing, and inventory control
* Proven experience with manufacturing reporting and operational finance
* Advanced Excel skills
* Syspro ERP experience highly advantageous
* Strong analytical, reporting, and business partnering skills
* Experience working closely with operational, supply chain, and manufacturing teams
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with plant and operational management to provide financial insight and support.
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts, operational reports, and performance analysis.
* Analyse manufacturing KPIs, inventory movements, production efficiencies, and cost drivers.
* Monitor stock, wastage, fuel consumption, and factory costs against budget and targets.
* Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management.
* Drive costing accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Evaluate and assist with capital expenditure projects and business cases.
* Assist with month-end reporting, manufacturing provisions, and ongoing financial controls.
* Support strategic initiatives aimed at improving profitability and operational performance.
