In this role, you'll provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring their network is secure, scalable, and high-performing. You will be responsible for aligning their network strategy with business goals, fostering operational excellence, and ensuring our systems are reliable and compliant with security standards. Responsibilities: * Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi). * Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to network engineers. Prepare documentation, allocate tasks, and oversee the resolution of incidents. * Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewall rules and segmentation. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities, support audits, and monitor network security. * Performance & Reporting: Track and report on key metrics like network performance, uptime, and incident trends. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization. * Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintain accurate documentation of network topology and assets. * Governance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS. Minimum Requirements: * A relevant diploma and IT networking and security certifications. * Required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent. * Preferred: CCNP, Fortinet NSE, AWS/Azure Networking certifications, and ITIL Foundation. * 5–8 years of hands-on networking experience, including 1–2 years in a team lead or senior role. * Strong knowledge of enterprise networking platforms like Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet. * Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, VLANs, and QoS. * Experience with firewall configuration, cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies. * Willingness to work extended hours and travel.
