Finance/Accounting - Other Finance/Accounting Pretoria East FULL TIME Job Summary Job Description: * Oversee the full finance function across multiple entities within the group * Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and procedures * Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across the business * Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance and exception reporting * Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close processes * Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate external audit engagements * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax legislation, and statutory requirements * Manage VAT, PAYE, income tax, and other regulatory submissions * Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions * Review daily and monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity requirements * Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to management * Assist with stakeholder reporting, including engagements with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and external advisors * Lead, mentor, and develop members of the finance team * Drive process optimisation, automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function Skills & Experience: * Minimum 2 years' experience in a financial management or finance leadership role * Previous exposure to an SME, multi-entity, or group environment would be advantageous * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and regulatory compliance * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data * Experience working with ERP and accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or similar platforms * Exposure to financial statement drafting software * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-focused environment Qualification: * CA(SA) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.     Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.   Let us assist you with your career…
