Education: * BEng or BSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering * 3D CAD and engineering design software * FEA software Job Experience & Skills Required: * Developing and refining mechanical designs from concept through to implementation. * 2+ years' relevant mechanical design engineering experience. * Producing detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings. * Performing engineering calculations, design reviews and technical assessments. * Selecting appropriate materials, components and manufacturing methods. * Working closely with manufacturing, production, project and engineering teams. * Reviewing designs for functionality, manufacturability, reliability and cost. * Supporting prototyping, testing, commissioning and design improvements. * Investigating technical problems and implementing practical engineering solutions. * Preparing technical documentation, specifications and engineering reports. * Ensuring designs comply with relevant engineering standards and specifications.
