Sourcing Location: North America, LATAM, or South Africa preferred, Global
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST).
Compensation: $1,400 – $1,800 USD per month
Incentives: Commission/bonus structures are collaborative and designed to reward high performance.
About the Role
We are seeking a Partnerships Manager to take full ownership of our advertising sales and brand partnerships. Our company is a news and education website dedicated to helping people understand quality in their purchases and own things they want to use forever. Since 2011, we have been a North Star for quality-minded consumers and a mainstay for brands like Levi’s, New Balance, and Grant Stone. We are now opening our search globally to find a world-class relationship builder who can thrive in a North American business environment.
This is a full-time position for a "self-driver" who can manage the entire sales lifecycle—from initial outbound outreach to closing campaigns and managing renewals. You will be the face of Heddels to our partners, acting as a consultant to help them reach our audience of quality-minded consumers.
Responsibilities
* End-to-End Sales Management: Handle inbound prospects and aggressively pursue outbound leads via cold outreach and social selling.
* Relationship Building: Nurture long-term partnerships with brands in the premium menswear and quality-goods space.
* Campaign Conversion: Educate prospects on the company’s unique value proposition and convert leads into signed advertising campaigns.
* Pipeline Ownership: Manage a consistent sales pipeline, aiming for a target of at least two meetings per week and consistent monthly closed deals.
* Renewals & Churn Management: Engage with existing and inactive clients to renew partnerships and minimize churn.
* Sales Enablement: Identify needs for new marketing materials (case studies, one-pagers) and coordinate their creation using tools like Canva or AI to better visualize our value proposition.
* Strategic Input: Participate in goal-setting using the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework.
Experience & Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of proven track record selling digital media or online advertising.
* Communication: Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills. You should be a natural relationship builder with a high level of empathy.
* Time Zone: Ability to maintain a 90% overlap with North American business hours (specifically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time).
* Tech Literacy: Proficient in Slack, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Apollo, or similar).
* Industry Aptitude: While deep knowledge of menswear isn’t required on day one, you must demonstrate the ability to learn a new niche quickly and switch between industry contexts seamlessly.
* Mindset: Outcome-focused, autonomous, and comfortable in a remote-first startup environment.
Success in the First 90 Days
* Month 1: Comprehensive training and "ride-alongs" to build your knowledge base and understanding of the company’s niche.
* Month 2-3: Transition to solo "driving," maintaining a steady stream of weekly meetings and securing at least one signed campaign within the first 90 days.
