Job Summary
Minimum requirements:
* Matric (Grade 12) essential
* Reliable transport to and from work
* Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts advantageous
* Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in hot kitchen operations
* Proven expertise in hot food preparation
* Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, storage standards, and HACCP principles
* Ability to manage inventory, control stock levels, and maintain par stocks along with other team members
* Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaboration with chefs, service, and procurement teams
* Flexible to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
* Physically fit – able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
