Duties & Responsibilities • Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic equipment • Repair and maintain vehicle electrical systems (wiring, lighting, batteries, starters, alternators, etc.) • Install electrical components and accessories (alarms, tracking devices, sound systems, etc.) • Conduct fault-finding on electronic control units (ECUs) • Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Provide feedback on repairs and required parts Desired Experience & Qualification • Must be a qualified Auto Electrician • Previous experience as an Auto Electrician within an automotive workshop (passenger vehicles) • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills • Knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Valid driver’s license • Good communication skills • Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
