Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Head of Finance will manage and oversee the full financial lifecycle of the client’s property portfolio.
* Lead asset level financial management across the entire lifecycle
* Financial reporting for the portfolio
* Analyse portfolio performance
* Build and maintain financial models incorporating rental income projections, cost assumptions, and expected returns
* Analyse budgets and forecasts to ensure they are in line with strategic priorities
* Produce detailed budgets and forward-looking forecasts for development projects
* Calculate, review, and monitor banking covenants for lender reporting and funding submissions
* Lead and manage the debtor function across the portfolio, overseeing accurate monthly billing, monitoring arrears and collections, and enforcing credit control policies
* Engage with tenants on escalations and turnover rentals, while working closely with legal and leasing teams on tenant handovers, arrears management, and issue resolution
* Technology optimisation and automation
* Improve financial systems and processes
* Assist with audit activities
* Statutory reporting processes
* Funder and stakeholder relationship management
