Building/Construction/Mining - Mining Rustenburg FULL TIME Job Summary Job Title: Chrome Wash Plant Manager Industry: Mining / Mineral Processing (Chrome) Job Purpose: To oversee and manage the daily operations of the chrome wash plant, ensuring optimal production efficiency, quality, cost control, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and supervise all wash plant operations, including crushing, screening, and beneficiation processes. * Ensure production targets and recovery rates are achieved. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives. * Oversee maintenance planning and execution. * Manage and lead plant personnel. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Control operational costs. * Coordinate with geology, mining, and logistics teams. * Analyze production data and prepare performance reports. * Implement quality control measures. * Manage contractor performance. * Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, or related field. * 8-10 years of experience in mineral processing, with 3-5 years in a managerial role in a chrome wash plant. * Strong knowledge of chrome beneficiation processes. * Experience in plant optimization and cost control. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems.
