Job Summary
REQUIREMENT:
- RSA ID and legal residence essential
- Relevant Sommelier / Wine qualification
- Proven experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of local and international wines, pairings, and vintages
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- Strong organisational and stock control ability
- Professional presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours in a hospitality environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Curate and manage the wine list and cellar inventory
- Provide wine recommendations and pairings to enhance guest dining experiences
- Conduct wine tastings and guest interactions
- Manage wine stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of wines
- Train staff on wine knowledge and service standards
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction
- Assist with bar and beverage service when required
- Monitor beverage costs and contribute to profitability
PACKAGE:
- Salary Negotiable (DOE)
