Overview
A fast-growing company is seeking a Finance Controller to help strengthen and professionalize its finance function during a key growth phase. This role will play a critical part in building scalable financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting expansion into new markets.
Mission & Impact
This position is central to establishing strong financial foundations that enable sustainable growth and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will take ownership of core accounting functions while contributing to strategic financial direction during a period of transition and scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Develop, implement, and optimize financial systems and procedures in compliance with US GAAP.
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations independently while maintaining high standards of financial control.
* Partner with senior finance leadership to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
* Support the future build-out of the finance function, including processes and team structure.
Must-Have Qualifications
* Strong experience in financial controlling and deep knowledge of US GAAP.
* Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting processes.
* High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience working in high-growth or startup environments.
* Exposure to financial system implementation or automation.
* Familiarity with international finance practices or multi-entity structures.
