About the Role
A growing U.S.-based property management firm, is hiring 2 Maintenance Coordinators to support its expanding portfolio of residential properties. This is a long-term, full-time remote role with a U.S. company that values proactive communication, reliability, and critical thinking.
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for tenants reporting maintenance issues. You’ll triage, prioritize, and assign work orders through platforms like AppFolio and Property Meld — ensuring that repairs are handled quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and owners in a timely and professional manner
* Triage and prioritize work orders based on urgency and severity
* Dispatch service vendors or in-house technicians
* Communicate with residents and vendors to follow up on repairs and completion timelines
* Use AppFolio and Property Meld to manage and track maintenance issues
* Document all communications and status updates within the system
* Support the property management team with reporting and vendor coordination
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in a Maintenance Coordinator or similar role within property management
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong customer service orientation — calm, friendly, and solutions-focused under pressure
* Detail-oriented and organized — able to juggle multiple requests and priorities
* Critical thinker — able to assess maintenance requests and determine the best course of action
* Familiarity with urgency ranking of maintenance issues (e.g., emergency vs. routine)
* Proficient in AppFolio and Property Meld (strongly preferred)
* Able to work full-time during U.S. business hours (CST/EST overlap)
Bonus:

* Familiarity with U.S.-based housing laws or maintenance standards
