Internal Sales & AdministrationOur client in the Aluminium Industry offering a full range of Aluminium products, is on a recruitment drive for a self-motivated and self-driven candidate to join their team.This position forms part of a team that service existing customers and find new business to grow sales volume and profit sustainably. This position requires the successful candidate to assist with branch administration functions. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:Sales:Market, promote, sell and upsell full range of productsIdentify new customers and take necessary actions to secure the businessEducate and assist customers with technical inquiries and Starfront to help them win tenders and upsell additional or quality productsDriven to achieve individual and branch targetsDevelop detail product technical and starfront knowledge to deliver exceptional service to customersResponsible for cash collected, speed point and EFTs for all cash transactions processed Administration:Ensure all customer requirements are attended to, such as quoting, invoicing, credit notes and any feedback requiredEnsure correct processing of orders, quotations and capturing of manual delivery notes timeouslyResolving all queries relating to pricing back orders, credit notes and goods returnedOffering excellent customer service and feedback so that all expectations are managedAssist the branch with admin functions (cash reconciliation, receiving of stock and filing)Maintain a proper filing system of key documents for quick and easy retrievalWorking proactively with Branch Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the branch and prevent any lossesFamiliarise yourself with and follow SOP's and abide by Company policies and proceduresParticipate in stock takes and perpetual counts and work overtime to prepare and complete suchGeneralWork overtime, after hours or weekends if and when requiredReport any fraudulent, theft, collusive, suspicious, unproductive, malicious or in...
Qualifications:
- Matric or NQF4 (equivalent)
- 2 years' experience in a sale's, admin and / or operational environment
- Computer literate - MS Office Suite, Syspro (advantageous)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver's license
