What you will do * **Strategic financial leadership:** Lead the financial management of the Client Portfolio Financial function, translating organisational strategy into financial priorities, providing financial insight and advice for business and client decisions, influencing financial strategy, identifying risks and opportunities, ensuring effective resource allocation, driving performance improvements, and partnering with senior leadership. * **Property portfolio financial management:** Oversee the financial performance and reporting of property portfolios, including reviewing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, income statements, and balance sheets. Monitor income, expenditure, and recoveries; manage capital expenditure; analyse performance; ensure data accuracy; provide financial commentary; and meet property owner reporting requirements. * **Client and stakeholder management:** Act as a senior finance partner to internal and external stakeholders, including property owners, clients, Financial Directors, Property and Asset Management teams, tenants, operational business units, other finance teams, procurement, banking, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Build strong relationships, manage complex financial discussions, and ensure responsiveness to client and business needs. * **People leadership:** Provide leadership and direction to the Client Portfolio Financial team by setting expectations, coaching and developing members, allocating resources, driving accountability, building capability, leading change initiatives, and promoting collaboration. * **Financial systems and reporting:** Ensure financial systems and reporting frameworks support business and property owner needs. This involves developing and enhancing reporting solutions, automating processes, improving reporting quality and efficiency, providing financial input into systems and transaction treatment, supporting and maintaining SAP, SAP BI, MDA, and related systems, and maintaining reporting structures. * **Governance, audit and compliance:** Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls. Support internal and external audit processes, manage audit findings, implement recommendations, monitor compliance with IFRS, tax, and other applicable financial requirements, maintain financial governance, and engage with regulatory authorities as needed.
