The successful intern will work in an international organisation and receive continuous coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training. Duties and Responsibilities The SHEQ Intern will be responsible for supporting activities such as: * Assisting with the investigation and closure of non-conformances and incidents. * Supporting root cause analysis. * Analysing SHEQ data. * Assisting with SHEQ reports and dashboards. * Monitoring SHEQ performance and identifying improvement opportunities. * Developing and tracking corrective and preventive actions. * Supporting actions arising from audits, inspections and investigations. * Assisting with SHEQ management system activities. * Supporting document control processes. * Assisting with legal compliance activities. * Participating in risk assessments and hazard identification. * Assisting with audits and inspections. * Supporting environmental and waste management initiatives. * Assisting with SHEQ training. * Supporting safety awareness and behavioural safety initiatives. * Participating in other SHEQ departmental activities. Minimum Qualifications Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields: * Engineering * Health and Safety * Environmental Management * Quality Management * Related field Skills and Knowledge Required Applicants should have: * Computer literacy. * Microsoft Word skills. * Microsoft Excel skills. * Microsoft PowerPoint skills. * Good communication skills. * Good problem-solving abilities.
