Job description
Key Responsibilities
* Process, capture and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and timeously.
* Match supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes and supporting documentation.
* Investigate and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
* Perform supplier account reconciliations and assist with payment preparation.
* Maintain accurate accounts payable and bookkeeping records.
* Assist with inventory management, including maintaining accurate inventory records.
* Reconcile physical stock, inventory systems and financial records.
* Monitor and investigate stock variances, discrepancies and adjustments.
* Assist with stock counts and stock reconciliations.
* Ensure stock movements, purchases and related costs are accurately recorded.
* Assist with inventory costing and cost-of-goods-related reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
* Assist with general ledger reconciliations and month-end finance processes.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies between supplier, inventory and accounting records.
* Provide general bookkeeping and finance support as required.
Requirements
* Relevant Bookkeeping, Accounting or Finance qualification.
* CIMA qualification or currently studying towards CIMA will be highly advantageous.
* Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience is essential.
* Practical experience with supplier invoices and supplier reconciliations.
* Previous experience working with inventory and stock management is essential.
* Good understanding of stock reconciliations, inventory movements and financial controls.
* Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
