    Job description

    Key Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate inventory records and protect the integrity of the inventory and production systems. * Control and validate all inventory movements. * Perform product costing, cost calculations and standard-cost reviews. * Reconcile production batches, recipes, yields and stock usage. * Analyse production margins, losses, wastage and yield variances. * Investigate and resolve inventory and costing discrepancies. * Plan, coordinate and supervise monthly stock takes. * Reconcile physical stock against system records. * Develop and improve inventory-control procedures. * Assist with costing and inventory controls for new products and product ranges. * Ensure production information is captured accurately on the operating system. * Work closely with Production, Operations and Finance to ensure reliable costing and stock information. Minimum Requirements: * Relevant qualification in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting or Finance. * Experience in cost accounting, inventory control or manufacturing accounting. * Good knowledge of product costing, standard costing, stock reconciliations, gross margins, production yields and wastage. * Strong Excel skills. * Comfortable working with ERP, inventory or production systems. * Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving ability. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies. * Able to work confidently with finance, production and operational teams. * Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production would be highly advantageous.
