Manufacturing - Manufacturing Production Cape Town FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial refrigeration market. * Build and maintain long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, engineers, end users and key decision-makers. * Conduct customer visits, site inspections and technical consultations. * Analyse client requirements and recommend suitable refrigeration solutions. * Prepare quotations, technical proposals and tender submissions. * Present technical solutions and product offerings to clients. * Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. * Support project handovers and maintain communication throughout project implementation. * Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and pipeline reports. * Attend industry exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings. * Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing after-sales support. Minimum Requirements * Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field. * 3–8 years' experience in industrial refrigeration, HVAC&R, process cooling or a similar technical environment. * Previous experience in technical sales, business development or application engineering. * Experience with industrial refrigeration systems including ammonia (NH₃), CO₂, glycol or similar refrigerants will be advantageous. * Strong understanding of industrial refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, pumps and control systems. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs. * Good understanding of refrigeration principles and thermodynamics. * Computer literate with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. * AutoCAD or refrigeration selection software experience would be advantageous. * Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
