Job description
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and grade patterns from design sketches, specifications, or existing garments
* Create and modify manual patterns
* Conduct fittings and adjust patterns based on fit sessions and feedback
* Ensure patterns meet quality, sizing, and production standards
* Liaise with designers, garment technologists, and production teams to resolve fit and construction issues
* Maintain accurate pattern records and version control
* Optimise fabric utilisation through efficient marker making
* Mentor and guide junior pattern makers, where applicable
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, or Clothing Technology
* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Pattern Maker
* Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and fit
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet critical production deadlines
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
