IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Western Cape FULL TIME Job Summary A well-established financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Underwriting & Claims Assistant to provide support across commercial and personal lines insurance. Key Responsibilities: * Provide underwriting and claims administration support to advisers. * Prepare and process quotations, policy documentation, and onboarding packs. * Liaise with insurers, clients, assessors, and service providers. * Manage policy amendments, renewals, cancellations, and premium collections. * Coordinate insurer surveys and compliance requirements. * Maintain accurate client records and asset registers. * Monitor and manage claims from initiation through to settlement. * Ensure all client correspondence and documentation are maintained accurately. * Support compliance and audit processes. * Assist with client service queries and deliver exceptional customer support. Minimum Requirements: * Matric Certificate. * RE5 qualification. * NQF 4 Short-Term Insurance qualification (150 credits). * Minimum 5 years' experience in Short-Term Insurance. * Proven experience in both underwriting and claims administration. * Exposure to both commercial and personal lines, with strong commercial lines experience preferred. * Strong administrative, communication, and organisational abilities.
