Cashbook Specialist
Finance/Accounting - Finance/Accounting Management Johannesburg North FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Process and capture high-volume cashbook transactions across multiple local and international bank accounts. * Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving outstanding items and variances. * Process EFT payment batches, verify banking details and provide support with cash and liquidity management. * Assist with month-end close, including ledger balancing and preparation of reconciliation and audit schedules. * Monitor banking portfolios and ensure transactions are processed in line with internal controls and VAT requirements. * Support internal and external audit processes and ensure accurate documentation is maintained. Minimum Requirements * Diploma or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field. * 2–3 years’ commercial experience specifically within a cashbook, treasury or banking-focused accounting role. * Strong hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and cashbook processing. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Experience with Navision / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly advantageous; Accpac/Sage 300 exposure is beneficial. * Strong numerical accuracy, analytical problem-solving ability and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
