Applicants should preferably reside close to Wadeville, Germiston, or the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities · Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems · Servicing, maintenance and fault-finding on chillers and chilled-water systems · Preventative and scheduled maintenance · Diagnosis of electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults · Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs efficiently · Completing service reports and relevant job documentation · Liaising professionally with customers and site personnel · Working overtime as required · Participating in the company's after-hours standby roster Requirements · Proven hands-on experience working on chillers is required · Strong experience in industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning service, maintenance and repairs · Strong electrical, mechanical and refrigeration fault-finding skills · Ability to independently diagnose faults and carry out repairs · Practical technical ability and a good understanding of refrigeration systems · Valid driver's licence · Good communication skills · Reliable, professional and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team · Overtime is a requirement of the position, and applicants must be willing and available to work overtime when required · Participation in the after-hours standby roster is compulsory · Preference will be given to applicants residing close to Wadeville, Germiston Remuneration Market-related and dependent on experience and technical ability.
