Job description

Your key responsibilities will include: * Lead and oversee complex financial reconciliations across multiple accounts and business areas. * Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of financial data. * Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies and variances. * Drive robust financial controls and reconciliation processes. * Manage month-end, year-end and reporting deadlines. * Review and analyse financial information to identify trends, risks and anomalies. * Partner with senior stakeholders and operational teams to resolve financial issues. * Provide meaningful financial insight and recommendations to management. * Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies. * Lead, mentor and develop finance team members. * Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies and internal controls. Non-negotiables: * CA(SA) qualification * 5+ years' relevant post-qualification experience * Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Manager / senior finance management role * Strong technical accounting and financial management expertise * Proven experience managing complex reconciliations and resolving discrepancies * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels * Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills Network Finance Recruiter
