Finance/Accounting - Finance/Accounting Management Klerksdorp FULL TIME Job Summary Our client is a leading mining organisation looking for an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to oversee the stores function and ensure that stock is controlled, accurately recorded and available when required. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can bring structure to a busy stores environment, manage a team and identify ways to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that purchasing, receiving, issuing and stock control processes operate effectively. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the day-to-day stores and inventory function, ensuring materials and consumables are properly controlled. * Manage stock receiving, issuing, goods receipts and inventory movements. * Monitor stock levels, variances and inventory accuracy while implementing corrective actions where required. * Assist with inventory planning, purchasing requirements and budget management. * Identify and implement improvements to stores, stock control and inventory processes. * Lead, develop and manage the stores team while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and controls. Minimum Requirements * Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous. * 5–10 years' experience within stores, inventory or materials management. * Mining industry experience is essential. * Proven experience managing and developing a stores or inventory team. * Experience working with Sage or a similar ERP system. * Strong analytical and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
