Mechanical Fitter
Millwright
Automotive Motor Mechanic
Transportation Electrician
Mechatronics Technician
Applicants must select their preferred trades or fields of training in order of priority when completing the application.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 / Technical Matric with a pass in:
Core Mathematics or Technical Mathematics
and
Physical Science or Engineering Science
Mathematical Literacy will not be considered.
Alternatively, applicants may have:
At least N3 / NTC3
with four subjects, including core Mathematics and Physical Science.
Higher relevant technical qualifications may also be considered according to the advertised entry route.
Programme Conditions
Successful candidates will not be allowed to work overtime during the Technical Programme unless authorised.
Participants will also not be permitted to register for additional studies that are not part of the apprenticeship if those studies require attendance during normal working hours.
