Premium Ad Engineering - Other Engineering Cape Town FULL TIME Job Summary A leading industrial manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Factory & Maintenance Manager with strong experience in manufacturing, mechanical and electrical maintenance, compressors, oxygen-generating systems, PLC programming and technical project work to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will oversee factory and maintenance operations while providing hands-on technical expertise, fault-finding and problem-solving support across compressors, oxygen concentrators, electrical systems and associated equipment. The role requires a technically strong manager who is comfortable with PLC programming, electrical design, technical drawings and travel throughout Africa when required. Responsibilities: * Oversee factory and maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. * Manage and maintain compressors, oxygen concentrators and associated equipment. * Diagnose and resolve compressor and equipment faults. * Perform and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities. * Provide technical support for oxygen and gas-generating systems and on-site installations. * Manage and supervise maintenance and technical personnel. * Develop, troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled systems. * Undertake PLC programming and software programming as required. * Work with Delta PLC systems and associated software. * Use measurement, monitoring and gas analysis equipment to diagnose and assess equipment performance. * Design and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD. * Assist with electrical panel design and assembly. * Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to technical and operational challenges. * Support technical projects and installations across Africa when required. * Ensure equipment and factory operations remain reliable, efficient and fit for purpose.
