Premium Ad IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Cape Town FULL TIME Job Summary A leading European provider of natural and premium pet nutrition who is seeking to open up an office in Cape Town is seeking a Data & Retention Manager who will the lead customer data strategy, customer analytics, pricing and margin analysis, and end-to-end CRM operations. Responsibilities: * Strategy & Segmentation: Develop and execute customer data strategy across all brands; define customer segmentation and audience criteria. * LTV & Attribution: Build and maintain LTV models, cohort analyses, customer attribution, and journey tracking. * Reporting & Dashboards: Maintain consolidated corporate and brand-level reporting dashboards, manage data refreshes, and handle ad hoc analyses. * Pricing & Margin Insights: Model product, brand, and customer segment margins; analyze price elasticity and promotional impacts to inform pricing decisions owned by the Head of Commercial. * Data Review Ownership: Chair the regular Data Review meeting (attendees: Head of Marketing, Head of Commercial, Brand Leads); set agendas, present margin and customer insights, and drive actionable decisions. * Send Calendar Management: Maintain the master email deployment calendar across all channels to prevent audience fatigue, optimize send volume, and spot campaign opportunities. * Campaign Deployment: Brief the CRM agency and execute segmentations and deployments for B2C (authorized by Brand Leads) and B2B (authorized by PR & Communications) email sends. * Lifecycle Automation: Lead full-lifecycle automation strategy and continuous optimization (welcome, post-purchase, browse abandonment, win-back, loyalty).
