Premium Ad Sales/Marketing - Other Sales/Marketing Johannesburg FULL TIME Job Summary We are seeking an experienced External Sales Consultant to join a leading organisation within the ready-mix concrete and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales volumes, developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring a professional customer experience throughout the sales and ordering process. Key Responsibilities * Achieve monthly concrete sales volume and value targets. * Develop, maintain and grow a strong customer portfolio. * Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory. * Build and maintain professional relationships with clients. * Promote products and provide accurate pricing to customers. * Prepare accurate sales quotations. * Price tenders in collaboration with the technical team where required. * Follow up on quotations, tenders and potential business opportunities. * Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant market intelligence. * Liaise with plant managers, internal sales teams and technical departments. * Address and resolve customer queries and problems promptly. * Assist with sales forecasting, budgeting and sales action plans. * Ensure correct pricing and zone allocations. * Maintain accurate sales administration and records. * Ensure a professional and seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through to order and dispatch. Requirements * Minimum Grade 12 / Matric. * Minimum 5 years' experience in sales and client liaison, preferably at a senior level. * Strong external sales and business development experience. * Experience managing and growing a customer portfolio. * Strong quotation, tender and pricing experience. * Excellent negotiation and closing skills. * Strong customer relationship management skills. * Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets. * Strong written and verbal English communication skills. * Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. * Knowledge of concrete and construction products will be advantageous. * Experience within the construction, ready-mix concrete, building materials or related industry will be advantageous. * A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
