Premium Ad Engineering - Other Engineering Western Cape FULL TIME Job Summary A dynamic and well-established multi-disciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team, based in Plattekloof. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of professionals in architecture and engineering, contributing to a wide range of impactful projects across multiple sectors. Requirements: * BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying * Professional Registration (PrQS) * 6–10 years of relevant industry experience * Valid driver’s license Key Responsibilities: * Review and evaluate design documentation * Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates * Compile bills of quantities and contract documentation * Perform financial evaluations of tenders * Manage cost control functions including valuations, variation orders, and cost reports * Prepare and negotiate final accounts * Conduct site visits and attend project meetings * Prepare repair estimates, damage costings, and viability studies * Liaise with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and fellow Quantity Surveyors Core Competencies: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Excellent attention to detail * Proficiency in MS Excel and other QS software * Effective time management and organisational abilities * Skilled in budgeting, estimating, procurement, and cost control * Confident negotiator with a proactive approach to quality assurance The successful candidate will thrive in a professional, ethical, and inclusive work environment that values both performance and team collaboration.
