AI Tester
IT/Computer - Tester Johannesburg North FULL TIME Job Summary As an AI Tester, you will be responsible for validating and testing AI systems, machine learning models, generative AI applications, and intelligent automation solutions. You will work closely with developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify risks, uncover defects, and improve the overall quality and performance of AI-driven products. What's in it for You? * Work with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies * Collaborate with highly skilled technical teams * Exposure to enterprise-scale AI initiatives * Opportunities for career growth in a rapidly expanding field * Competitive salary and benefits package Key Responsibilities * Design and execute test strategies for AI, ML, and Generative AI applications. * Validate AI model outputs for accuracy, consistency, fairness, and reliability. * Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for AI solutions. * Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. * Identify and document defects, anomalies, and model performance issues. * Assess AI systems for bias, security, explainability, and compliance risks. * Analyse datasets and test data quality to ensure valid model performance. * Work closely with Data Scientists, Developers, and Product Owners throughout the development lifecycle. * Monitor AI solutions in production and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. * Produce detailed test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders. Experience & Skills of the Ideal Candidate * 3+ years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance. * Experience testing AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data-Driven applications. * Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices. * Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. * Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, model validation, prompt testing, and output verification. * Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, and cloud-based platforms. * Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery environments. * ISTQB certification advantageous. * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. *Interested?* Network Contracting Recruiter
