QA Tester
IT/Computer - Tester Midrand CONTRACT R45 000,00 - R65 000,00 (PER MONTH) Job Summary We are currently building our IT talent database and are looking to connect with experienced QA Testers for current and future opportunities. We are particularly interested in professionals with strong experience in software testing, test case creation, defect management, functional testing and test automation. Key Responsibilities: * Create and execute test cases and test scenarios. * Perform functional, regression and integration testing. * Identify, document and track software defects. * Perform system and user acceptance testing. * Participate in test planning and estimation. * Validate software against business and technical requirements. * Conduct retesting and regression testing after defect fixes. * Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts and Project Teams. * Support automated testing initiatives where applicable. * Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports. Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile: Education * Diploma, BSc, BCom or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Testing or a related field will be advantageous. * Relevant software testing certifications such as ISTQB will be advantageous. Experience * 2+ years of software testing experience. * Experience creating and executing test cases. * Experience with functional and regression testing. * Experience identifying and managing software defects. * Experience working within Agile and/or Scrum environments. * Experience with test management or defect tracking tools. Skills * Manual Software Testing. * Functional Testing. * Regression Testing. * Integration Testing. * Test Case Development. * Defect Tracking. * Jira and/or similar testing tools. * SQL and database testing. * API Testing will be advantageous. * Automation Testing will be advantageous.
