Bursary Application Closing Date: 30 September 2026 Bursary Location: Accredited tertiary institutions across South Africa NHFC Bursary Programme 2027 The National Housing Finance Corporation is offering bursary funding to financially disadvantaged South African students who are studying in fields linked to housing, finance, property and the built environment. The bursary supports undergraduate students from second year onwards, as well as postgraduate students. The programme aims to help students develop the skills and expertise required for careers in the housing finance and built-environment sectors. Fields of Study Covered The NHFC Bursary 2027 supports studies in: * Built Environment * Construction Economics * Developmental Studies * Economic Development * Energy Efficiency * Finance * Housing * Housing Construction * Human Settlements * Property Markets * Real Estate * Risk Management What Does the NHFC Bursary Cover? The bursary provides funding for at least: * Tuition fees. * Prescribed books. * Other study materials. Student accommodation and other expenses may also be covered at the discretion of the NHFC. Minimum Requirements Applicants must: * Be South African citizens. * Have completed Matric. * Come from a financially disadvantaged background. * Be studying towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in one of the approved fields. * Have completed first year and be entering second year or a higher level of study. * Be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa. * Have a strong academic record.
