Manufacturing - Research and Development Gauteng FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Provide first-line and second-line support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices. * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based systems. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application-related issues. * Set up, configure, and support network printers and other office equipment. * Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory. * Assist with desktop deployments, upgrades, patches, and system updates. * Support mobile devices and endpoint technologies. * Perform basic network troubleshooting, including cabling and connectivity issues. * Escalate complex technical issues when required. * Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and IT assets. * Ensure compliance with IT security policies and operational standards. * Assist with CCTV systems and related troubleshooting where required. * Deliver professional and responsive support to end users, ensuring minimal business disruption. Minimum Requirements * CompTIA A+ certification. * CompTIA N+ certification. * Relevant IT Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification. * Previous experience in a Desktop Support, IT Support, or Helpdesk environment. * Valid understanding of desktop hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals. Technical Skills Required * Windows 10 and Windows 11 Support. * Desktop and Laptop Support. * End-User Support and Troubleshooting. * Active Directory Administration. * Application Support. * Mobile Device Support. * Network Printer Installation and Support. * Basic Network Troubleshooting. * Network Cabling. * Computer Repair and Hardware Maintenance. * Basic CCTV Knowledge.
