Finance/Accounting - Other Finance/Accounting Sandton FULL TIME Job Summary In order to be considered the following is required: * BCom * Microsoft Office * 4 - 6 years general business and insurance experience * Short Term Experience & UMA Experience (Not Negotiable) * Knowledge of Insurance and industry * Project Management (ideal) * FAIS Compliant (preferable) * Analytical thinking and attention to detail * Results and solution focused (drive, energy and follow-through) * Self-management (planning, prioritizing and time management) * Visibility and Impact (includes professional presentation) * Communication * Customer service orientation * Relationship building (includes listening and interpersonal sensitivity) * Teamwork * Business and Financial Acumen Responsibilities: Develop Existing Portfolio of Clients: * Developing an ongoing prospect pipeline through liaison within the greater business, broker relationship and client relationship * Using financial acumen to interpret financial statements, actuarial data and ability to deal with budgets * Developing the business image and presence * Identifying opportunities to maintain and grow the portfolio * Conducting meetings with clients * Distributing and discussing statistical information * Checking and forwarding financial statements to client * Designing and preparing status reports * Providing prompt authorisation of claim payments * Dealing with client queries * Re-evaluating portfolio structures and servicing requirements on an ongoing basis relative to changing needs of the client * Evaluating client’s needs and requirements to enhance cross selling of other products * Participating in renewal process with broker / client * Ensuring all documentation pertaining to the insurance programme facility is in place Develop New Prospects and Products:…
