Engineering - Electrical Engineering Gauteng FULL TIME Job Summary A leading mining technology company is looking for a senior Product Manager with deep mining and gas detection experience to take ownership of its portable gas detection and environmental monitoring product portfolio. This is a strategic, technical role covering the full product lifecycle from development through to market launch and post-launch optimisation. Non-Negotiable Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, business, or related field * 10+ years’ proven experience in Product Management * 10+ years’ experience within the mining industry * Deep understanding of gas detection instrumentation, environmental monitoring systems or related safety technologies * Proven experience managing and delivering complex projects * Strong strategic, analytical and commercial thinking * Ability to lead cross-functional teams and take ownership of product success Job Experience & Skills Required * Develop and drive product and market strategies aligned with business objectives * Analyse market trends, customer requirements and competitor offerings to define product vision * Translate market requirements into product requirements and development priorities * Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams throughout product development * Coordinate R&D, feasibility studies, risk assessments, laboratory testing, site testing and trials * Manage detailed project plans, resources, budgets and project milestones * Oversee product documentation including designs, requirements, certifications, approvals, training material, manuals, BOMs and test results * Manage stakeholder relationships across customers, internal teams and external partners * Develop go-to-market strategies covering product positioning, pricing and promotional activities * Coordinate and support Proof of Concept activities * Monitor product performance and drive continuous product improvement * Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and risk-management capabilities For more engineering jobs, please visit: ? www.networkrecruitmentinternational.com If you have not received a response within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
