Premium Ad IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Johannesburg FULL TIME Job Summary A globally diversified mining company that explores for, extracts, and processes gold and copper is seeking a Senior Specialist: Security Operations (Technology & Projects) leads the planning and execution of security technology upgrades, infrastructure projects, and automation initiatives.  Responsibilities: * Promote a Zero Harm culture by applying and monitoring safety standards, legislative regulations, and safe work procedures. * Ensure health and safety standards are met across all project and operational activities. * Identify, plan, and execute security technology upgrades, system optimization, and infrastructure projects. * Implement automation tools and modern security systems to enhance operational efficiency. * Develop, assess, and mitigate operational risk plans to prioritize projects and resource allocation. * Apply data-informed decision-making to manage security and technological incidents effectively. * Oversee departmental and project budgets, contracts, and procurement processes. * Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely project delivery and resource optimization. * Lead, schedule, coach, and mentor team members to support career growth and workload balance. * Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. * Promote a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
