IT/Computer - Other IT/Computer Gauteng FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the actuarial pricing team, ensuring delivery of work within agreed service levels and project milestones. * Provide expert actuarial support and pricing advice to business stakeholders and senior management. * Analyse pricing performance, identify trends and opportunities, and communicate recommendations to Product and Underwriting teams. * Drive portfolio management initiatives and monitor performance against key business KPIs. * Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing monitoring reports, data sources, and analytical tools. * Ensure modelling standards, governance requirements, and pricing best practices are maintained across the team. * Collaborate with key business areas including Product, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Capital, Reserving, Finance, Claims, Policy Administration, Management Information, and IT. * Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture. Job Experience and Skills Required Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science. * Significant progress towards actuarial qualification through recognised actuarial examinations. * Additional relevant actuarial or analytical qualifications will be advantageous. Experience: * Minimum 4 years' General Insurance pricing experience. * Proven experience providing actuarial insight and advice to senior management. * Demonstrated leadership experience, including planning, prioritisation, resource allocation, and people management. * Experience collaborating across multiple business functions and influencing key stakeholders. * Exposure to Capital Modelling, Reserving, or other actuarial disciplines will be advantageous. * Experience managing a diverse portfolio of work and balancing competing priorities.
