Engineering - Mechanical Engineering Johannesburg North FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities: * Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams. * Ensure the reliability and availability of critical infrastructure, including electrical systems, HVAC, standby power generation, medical gas installations, water systems, and building services. * Drive preventative maintenance and asset management strategies. * Manage infrastructure upgrades, refurbishments, and capital projects. * Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory, health and safety, and engineering regulations. * Manage contractor performance, service level agreements, and technical budgets. * Identify and mitigate operational and technical risks. * Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the facility. Minimum Requirements: * GCC (Factories) – Essential. * Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 8–10 years' engineering and technical management experience within a complex operational environment. * Strong knowledge of facilities management, engineering compliance, maintenance planning, and asset management. * Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and contractors. * Sound understanding of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and engineering best practices. * Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
