Engineering - Mechanical Engineering Centurion FULL TIME Job Summary Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop mechanical machines, assemblies, and components from concept through to production. * Produce detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and design documentation. * Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection. * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including manufacturing, electrical, and project engineering. * Support prototype development, testing, and the commissioning of machines. * Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, reliability, and manufacturability. * Ensure that designs comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality specifications. * Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and installation phases. Minimum Requirements: * BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine design within a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar). * Experience with design calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and mechanical systems integration. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
