Engineering - Civil Engineering Mankweng CONTRACT Market Related On-site Job Summary Azra Developments is a premier construction and infrastructure development company are seeking two experienced, results-driven Site Foremen to join our team for our project at the University of Limpopo in Mankweng. We are hiring for two distinct specialties 1. Foreman – Earthworks 2. Foreman – Pipework 1. Earthworks Foreman Key Responsibilities • Supervise bulk earthworks, platform preparations, and excavations. • Manage heavy earthmoving machinery (excavators, TLBs, graders, dump trucks). • Ensure accurate setting out and leveling according to survey data. • Monitor daily production targets and material volumes. Requirements • Minimum 4 years of experience specifically in civil bulk earthworks. • Deep knowledge of soil compaction, grading, and site drainage. • Strong leadership skills to manage large operator teams. 2. Pipework Foreman Key Responsibilities • Oversee the installation of stormwater, sewerage, and water reticulation pipes. • Manage trenching, pipe-laying, jointing, and backfilling processes. • Conduct pressure testing and quality inspections on completed lines. • Read and interpret detailed piping isometric drawings and civil plans. Requirements • Minimum 4 years of experience specifically in civil piping reticulation. • Proven track record with HDPE, PVC, and concrete piping systems. • Strict adherence to pipeline safety and trench shoring regulations. Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Supervision (advantageous).
