Junior Industrial Engineer
Engineering - Industrial Engineering Centurion FULL TIME Job Summary An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Junior Industrial Engineer to join a growing Telecommunications business that is focused on operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or engineer with up to two years of experience who is eager to apply Industrial Engineering principles to improve operational efficiency, optimise business processes, and support strategic improvement initiatives across a dynamic telecommunications environment. Key Responsibilities Process Improvement * Analyse operational processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency. * Assist in implementing process optimisation initiatives. * Develop process maps, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Monitor process performance and recommend corrective actions. Operational Support * Support operational planning and coordination activities. * Assist with workload balancing and resource planning. * Improve scheduling and workflow management. * Identify operational bottlenecks and propose practical solutions. Data Analysis & Reporting * Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data. * Develop KPI dashboards and performance reports. * Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports. * Support management decision-making through meaningful data analysis. Continuous Improvement * Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives. * Identify waste, inefficiencies, and process duplication. * Support standardisation across operational functions. * Assist with implementing best practices. Project Support * Assist with operational improvement projects. * Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, reporting, and project tracking. * Coordinate project documentation and maintain accurate records. Product Management Support * Assist in managing the telecommunications product portfolio. * Maintain product specifications, pricing, and technical documentation. * Support new product introductions and lifecycle management. * Monitor product performance and demand trends. * Work closely with Procurement, Sales, and Technical teams.
