Full-Stack Product Engineer
IT/Computer - Development Johannesburg North FULL TIME R120 000,00 - R150 000,00 (PER MONTH) Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications from concept to production. * Translate business requirements into functional product features, workflows, and intuitive user experiences. * Build scalable web applications using modern full-stack technologies. * Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party systems. * Manage cloud deployments and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. * Perform testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and production deployments. * Apply secure coding practices and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. * Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and accelerate delivery. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to continuously improve products and deliver measurable business value. Technical Requirements Candidates should have experience with: * Backend: .NET Core (C#), Node.js/TypeScript, or Python/Django. * Frontend: React or Angular, with Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap. * Database: SQL and database design. * Integration: RESTful APIs, Webhooks, OAuth2, and JWT authentication. * Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Storage, and Monitoring). * DevOps & Security: Git, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, encryption, identity and access management, and cloud security best practices. * Experience using AI-assisted development tools and low-code platforms will be highly advantageous. Minimum Requirements * Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. * 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-ready applications. * Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders. * Experience within fintech, banking, lending, investments, or financial services will be advantageous.
