Finance/Accounting - Finance/Accounting Management Rustenburg FULL TIME R900 000,00 - R1 000 000,00 (PER MONTH) Job Summary Key Responsibilities * Prepare and analyse product, operational, and project costing reports. * Monitor and control mining production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Develop, review, and maintain budgets and forecasts. * Perform variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management. * Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. * Analyse operational performance indicators and profitability metrics. * Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and analysis. * Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls. * Assist with annual budgeting and audit processes. * Work closely with operational managers to improve financial performance and cost efficiencies. Minimum Requirements * Diploma or BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, or a related field. * 5–10 years' experience in a Costing or Management Accounting role. * Essential: Experience within the mining sector, specifically open-cast mining operations. * Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. * Advanced Excel skills. * Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Advantageous * CIMA qualification or studies towards CIMA. * Experience in production costing and mine site reporting. * Knowledge of mining operational processes and performance metrics.
