About the Role The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, assess and manage risk, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the business. This role requires a well-rounded individual who is comfortable analysing financial statements, engaging with clients and brokers, and identifying opportunities within the market. Key Responsibilities: * Analyse financial statements and conduct underwriting assessments. * Manage and grow a portfolio of clients. * Make informed underwriting and credit decisions. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and beneficiaries. * Monitor and manage ongoing risk exposures. * Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and market trends. * Identify business development opportunities within your portfolio. * Support digitisation and automation initiatives. * Contribute broadly to team objectives and strategic projects. Minimum Requirements: * BCom degree. * Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services and/or the fuel industry. * Strong financial statement analysis skills. * Proven client relationship management experience. * Valid driver's licence. Advantageous: * Experience in guarantees or trade guarantee products. * Fuel industry experience. * Business development experience. * FAIS compliance and RE5 qualification.
